Discover a hidden lake in the heart of the Amazon.

Explore jungle trails, kayak among reflections and birds, and visit an ancient “Grandfather Tree.”

As night falls, paddle in silence under the stars in search of caimans, surrounded by the sounds of the jungle.

An intimate experience to connect with the magic of the Amazon.

Depart at 8:00 AM from the Leticia port and navigate along the Amazon River to a natural reserve in Peru (approx. 30 minutes).
Meet your local guide and begin a 2-hour jungle walk through the low forest, learning about medicinal plants and trees, with possible wildlife sightings. Depending on the river level, the final access to the reserve may be by canoe.
Arrival at the reserve located on the shores of a blackwater lake. Accommodation in a private room with bathroom. The lodge has electricity from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Buffet lunch with local flavors. Free time to relax and enjoy the lodge, including hammocks and a natural lake pool.
Kayak activity on the lake for birdwatching and nature exploration. Visit to the “Grandfather Tree,” a giant approximately 500 years old, followed by sunset viewing over the lake.
Dinner at the lodge. After dinner, canoe night expedition to explore the lake and search for caimans in their natural habitat.
Return to the cabin and rest.

This experience is available in a full-day option, departing from Leticia at 8:00 AM and returning around 5:00 PM. During the day, you will enjoy an immersive experience in the Amazon rainforest with an interpretive jungle walk, a blackwater lake tour, wildlife spotting, and close contact with nature in a peaceful and authentic setting.
For those seeking a more complete experience, the program can also be extended to 3 days and 2 nights, allowing a deeper connection with the reserve and its activities. This extended version includes additional excursions, night explorations, and more time to experience the Amazon rainforest.
