Over the course of 3 days, you will navigate its rivers, walk through deep jungle, explore blackwater lakes, and visit local communities rich in tradition.

DAY 1

9:00 am Departure from Leticia port by public boat along the Amazon River to the mouth of the Amacayacu River.

Meet your local guide and continue upstream by small boat to the San Martín indigenous community.

Community visit, lunch at a local restaurant, and handicraft workshop with a local artisan using natural fibers.

Continue along the river to Nainekü Lodge.

Accommodation in a private cabin with private bathroom.

Night jungle walk for insect and possible wildlife observation.

Dinner and rest at the lodge.
DAY 2
-
Breakfast at the lodge.

Jungle hike (~4 hours) from the Amacayacu River to Puerto Nariño, learning about medicinal plants with possible wildlife sightings (luggage is transported by boat).

Arrival in town and lunch at a local restaurant.

Visit the viewpoint and try regional fruit ice cream.

Boat transfer to Correo and Tarapoto Lakes.

Arrival at a lakeside cabin with a private room and shared bathroom.

Afternoon lake exploration for swimming, artisanal fishing, and possible pink and gray dolphin sightings.

Night exploration for possible caiman spotting.

Dinner at the cabin and rest.
DAY 3

Breakfast at the cabin and preparation of luggage.

Boat ride to the Amazon River and crossing to a Peruvian island.

Jungle walk along the sloth trail to observe them in their natural habitat.

Arrival at the San Antonio farming community, with a short visit and time for a refreshing drink or Peruvian beer.

Local lunch prepared by community cooks.

Return walk to the Amazon River.

3:30 pm Public boat to Leticia.
-
End of the tour at Leticia port around 5:30 pm.
