DAY 1

7:00 am Departure from Leticia port, navigating the Amazon River towards Puerto Nariño.

Meet your local guide and cross the Amazon by private boat to a Peruvian island.

Arrival at the San Antonio farming community.

Jungle walk to observe sloths in their natural habitat (by canoe depending on river levels).

Time for a refreshing drink or Peruvian beer.

Lunch at a local restaurant prepared by community cooks.

Continue along the Amazon and Loretoyacu River to the indigenous community of Puerto Rico (~1.5 hours).

Welcome by the community and a short 15-minute walk to Capibara Forest Lodge.

Accommodation in a hammock with mosquito net (basic facilities, no electricity).

Dinner prepared in a traditional open-air kitchen.

DAY 2

Breakfast at the lodge.

Prepare camping gear and hike to the campsite.

Set up your hammock with a mosquito net (hands-on learning).

Prepare lunch in the jungle and enjoy some rest time.

Night jungle exploration for possible wildlife spotting.

Return to the lodge for dinner, stories around the fire, and rest.
DAY 3

Breakfast in the jungle.

Break camp and return to the Puerto Rico community.

Lunch at a local family home.

Return to the lodge for a shower and rest.

Navigate blackwater lakes with artisanal fishing, exploration, and sunset watching.

Return to the lodge for dinner and rest.
DAY 4

Breakfast at the lodge.

Handicraft workshop with a local artisan using natural fibers.

Farewell to the community and boat transfer to Puerto Nariño.

Free time to explore the town, including the viewpoint, Natütama Museum, and regional fruit ice cream.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

3:30 pm Public boat to Leticia.

End of the tour at Leticia port at 5:30 pm.
